The mission of Enka - Candler Fire and Rescue Department is to provide all citizens with modern emergency service response, safely and effectively. The department will provide support and education to the community whereby reducing the rate of injury and property loss. The department will continually strive to improve the services provided to the community and other emergency service agencies.
ALS EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE
Enka-Candler Fire and Rescue is an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) level department. AEMTs can perform tasks beyond the scope of an EMT, such as starting IVs, and administering certain medications before an ambulance arrives.
